Three Conditions for a Good Heating Installation
- Boiler location: The position of the boiler determines balanced heat distribution across the apartment and how quickly hot water reaches bathrooms and kitchens.
- Pipe routing: Whether hot water reaches the radiators with minimal loss — and whether every part of every radiator heats up — depends on the route chosen.
- Material and workmanship: Pipe diameters must be correctly sized and radiator connections properly made. Welds at joints must not narrow the pipe bore; any blockage or reduction in diameter prevents radiators from heating evenly.
